Beoamster 4500 bass control not working

Hello, 

I have here a superb Beomaster 4500, it sounds nice and all access and controls are working except one. 

It is impossible to adjust the Bass as I do with Treble, Balance and Loudness. 

When I reach the Bass control adjustment, it remains to zero and there is no way to increase +1, +2 ... for example or decrease -1, -2...as I do for the Treble. 

Any tips to sort out this issue? Do I have to change the sw eprom?
