Hi

following a move my 7-32 mk3 will not tune any stations on either dtv or tv module

the tv appears to work in all other ways - I can play streaming content through my roku 1 unit, the stand works, I can access all the menus etc

I checked and rechecked the cable set and am confident that these are in the right place

having checked the menus and on connections it had lost its internal stb settings (menu options connections av4) so I selected stb in the hope that this would solve it however I was presented with a 4 page list of stbs from which I had to select arghhhhhh

how do i find which is the right stb?

am I even on the right path?

any help gratefully recieved

Hi and welcome,

do you mean the internal (!) DTV/TV tuners - for this you don't need any STB/PUC.

Or do you have an external box (for DTT) connected?

Hi 😀

Thanks for the reply - I think I do mean the internal dtv/tv tuners

currently the only external connection is a roku 1 which is connected to the camera connection

which makes it more odd that the tv will not tune

any ideas?

are you showing any signal strength in the "menu" ?

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.

signal strength and quality are 0% which is not right

it is connected to a area cable that was working before i connected the B&O

I know this might sound silly but have you double checked the aerial cable is in the right socket as the TV IN & DVB are close together  (I've done this before as mine is against the wall and I'm blind to any other the connections)

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.

Ok thanks for checking .... so we're not getting signal then if the aerial cable is plugged into the DVB socket and there is no signs of signal strength on the menu, if your Roku works fine and nothing else has been changed then there it should be something basic which is good.

You mention you have moved, have you proved that the "new" external aerial is working i.e. with another tv?

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.

have tried with another TV and it works fine - so i think the aerial is working ok

the aerial port has a signal booster connected to it ( the same as at my previous address)

and i have checked the connections themselves and they all look good

this is so frustrating

ps thanks for you help so far

Would it be possible to post a picture of how you have connected the aerial?
