beovision 4-42 is obsolete?

I think that plasma TVs are still the ones with themost beautiful colors and blacks. A 50-inch is too big for my Library. Some of you still using a beovision4 42-inch with beosystem3? Is it obsolete or is still a good product? Please let give me an opinion.

Not sure you can get 1080p n 42" Beovision 4. - if not, then yes, it is obsolete in the sense it isn't supporting the latest broadcast technologies (putting aside 4K which isn't used for broadcasting yet). Nonetheless, the screen size against the 720p/1080i max resolution still makes it a good screen to use alongside a Beovision 3. I'm using a couple of Beosystem 3s with 50" screens at 1080p but still can see the difference against my Beovision 10 in that it does seem to have a better colour range as you say.
