Anyone have XML codes for the Motorola DVR box from XFinity? Keith, if you read this, I am done but desperate for this one last piece to the puzzle.

Thanks@

I have them for the Motorola DVRs they use in the USA.  It will take me a bit to get them - they're on an other computer that I cannot get to until this evening.

I think you now have all the codes except the non working STOP command

These codes work with my DVR.  AFAIK, the STOP command works.  It also includes the "skip forward" command that isn't exposed on the standard Xfinity remote.   It skips forward 30 seconds - very useful to skip past commercials which is probably why they don't have it on the remote.

Note that this site doesn't allow one to upload an .xml file so I added a .txt to the file name.  You will need to remove this when you add this file to your configuration utility.

Hey Stan,

Thanks again for sending this. Are you able to get the soft key numbers to work with your Beo5? I can't seem to get mine to work which is causing a problem with the XML that Keith Saunders wrote for me for with channel icons. Because the numeric soft keys aren't working, the marcos that sends the channel to the STB wont go through. Any insight?

Thanks again!

Michael

By the way, I use a third party TV not a Beovision, otherwise I know the answer would be to switch to manual power mode

I'm confused.  First, what is manual power mode, and what does it have to with the numbers not working as soft keys (I assume a soft key is a key created on the touch screen).  Anyway, it all works fine for me.  I do have channel icons tied to numbers which I created via the config tool.  Maybe Keith has an more automated method that, for whatever reason, doesn't work with this file.  I don't know.  Sorry.

Btw, I started programming my Beo5 to work with a non-BeoTV.  Now that I own a BV8, I still use the direct control to the cablebox rather than running the commands through the BV - the BV PUC seems rather limited after one is used to full control.
