Beoworld Update Notifications: On February 18th my Beoworld Update Notifications just stopped and after Keith spent considerable time researching this problem, he suggested that I write a post for the benefit of other members who may, at some point experience a similar situation.
How other ISP’s will act in the future is an unknown; however my provider, Shaw Communications has determined that all Beoworld notifications are spam and their filter software is not budging on this issue.
I literally spent all day with no less than four technicians, each a very polite and knowledgeable thinking they had the problem solved….. but didn’t.
Removing all filters should have solved the problem, but not in my case. Highlighting the Beoworld Notifications and clicking the “Not Spam” button should have cleared up the issue, but not with this hiccup.
In the end nothing made the slightest difference until Beoworld.org was entered as a “trusted address” and then, and only then like magic 57 BeoWorld notifications appeared in my In-box, each labeled “Shaw suspected spam,” but at least they are being delivered.
So if you have a similar experience to mine, that is you post on the forums, but never receive any responses (including a copy of your own post); it might be a good idea to get with your ISP in order to restore your Beoworld Update Notifications.
