I have gotten hold of the MC/MCL Converter, there is no IR eye with the unit, and I don't have the need for it in a second room either.

But I might be able to use it with an old BS3000 and some CX100 speakers in my study... however the unit does not turn on.

Can this unit only be used in link rooms with either an IR eye attched or an MCL2A unit attached ?

Hi Weebyx,

it certainly can be used that way - a lot Beoworlders do this including myself.

You will have ro use the right PL cable for it, in order to turn it on.

Be sure to use a fully mounted one - the MK2!

There is a tv - and there is a BV

I guess I was a bit tired when asking :) Totally misread the PL connector on the ML converter, don't know what I was thinking :) But thank you.... It works like a charm :)
