Adjust soundlevel on Beogram 7000

Hi. 

I have a Beogram 7000 hooked up to a 1st generation Avant. It anoys me that i have to turen up the Avant to the 60's in Sound level to hear anything, it gives a bad background noise. there is also an Apple TV connected to the avant and "normal" sound level here is around 30.

i am wondering if I somehow can adjust the output of the Beogram 7000  Riaa ??? 

I have no clue how to do that.... Any advice appreciated.
