Hello,
Now I have BeoLab 2000 installed at the kitchen and masterlinked to the main room. I have created the new room at MLGW and it was very easy to set all the main sources. But when I am in the kitchen and I want to play music via PlayMaker, that is connected to A.AUX of the BeoCenter 2 in the main room... no reaction. I cannot choose the A.AUX from the linked room.
I have tried both set and clear checkbox "link" in the Sources tab of MLGW. No difference. What is worse, I do not know how to do that with Beo4 too (have not seen the L-A.AUX button in the List)... Is that possible at all?
Also, unfortunately, I do not know anything about BLGW (against MLGW) and BeoRemote 1 (since I do not own it). Maybe magic button "join" is the solution?

I don't think there is a solution, but still a possible work around.
Goto the BL2000 and start a source of the BC2 (radio, cd, dvd), then goto the BC2 and start the A.Aux. Normally the masterlink will follow the main system.
What about a.mem? Works on my old Beolab that is masterlinked from a BS9000 with sonos connected to the aux port.

Editing on Safari... Should say Beolab 3500.
Carolpa, unfortunately, this does not work. At the end BL2000 stays with initially chosen source and BC2 starts to play A.AUX.
There's another workaround, even less nice. I can start PM at the BC2 an then physically push the Play button on BL2000 - then it will play the same what is on audiomaster., Then I can switch the BC2 off and get the desired result.
Does anybody know what is the ML command to wake the BL2000 without choosing any source (= press Play on BL2000)? This is not shown on MLGW monitor. It would make script with these three lines possible.
Emil, This does not work either. With A.MEM sent BL2000 tries to switch somewhere (relay click), LED blinks green and immediately back red. Interesting, that A.MEM2 works for BL2000, but asks for N.MUSIC at the BC2.
That was for Beo4. The same with Beolink app. Link checkbox does not help.
Here's the similar topic about Beolink Active: http://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/p/3454/31256.aspx#31256
Probably, the solution is the same - firmware update.
However I was thinking how to find the way to do it without update, but using MLGW. For example in macro with 3 commands:
1.Activate BC2 with A.AUX
2. Wake the BL2000 without choosing the source (how????)
3. Put the BC in standby.
Obviously it will only work first time, when BL is not powered yet.
Sorted one day. By replacing BL2000 with BL3500 :)
I'm not currently using my BL2000, but I seem to remember I could select A.Aux by turning it on by pressing A. Aux/A. Tape on my Beo4. I know that works for my Beolinked speakers using the Beolink Wireless and IR puck.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus.
Press a-tape on beo4 or use tape button on bs2000
