Hope someone can help with this problem, I have a beocenter 9500 connected to red line speakers, hasn't been used alot over the years so in excellent condition, today I have gone to use it and have no lights on display and no response from the remote. When I switch it off at the wall I get the crackle sound thru the speakers, I tried the obvious change the fuse just in case it was a simple problem but no difference.  It worked fine at the last party a week or so ago :(  any suggestions on what I can try?

Thank you.

Sarah :(

Impossible to diagnose completely but it sounds as if there is a problem with the power supply. It is most likely that you have either a failed component or a crack in a solder joint. Neither is expensive but you need a modicum of skill to fix it and more importantly diagnose where it is.

The 9500 is, in my opinion, one of the very best devices made by B&O and is very well worth getting fixed. In the absence of anyone with electronics skills and a multimeter, I would suggest visiting your local dealer for advice on getting it fixed.
