BL8000 vs A9 for non-B&O television

I'm excited that the connection hub now provides me with an easy way to connect a pair of BL8000 to non-B&O television.

I was now thinking that I may even be able to connect a A9 to it that would bring NL and may be almost as good as a BL8000. I could connect the A9 even without the connection hub?

Any thoughts?
