Dear All,

I'm trying to connect a non-B&O amp to my BeoLab Penta.

First i've connect the amp in Line plugs with a converter between amp and BeoLab Penta. It works fine, but when i shut down my amp, it send background noise to the Penta ... curious.

I want to try to connect the amp to the Speaker link plugs of the Penta. What's difference between Line and Speaker Link connection on Penta ?

Hi.

The speaker link inputs are attenuated and offer the lowest sound quality. Basically you connect the speaker outputs of your amplifier to the speaker link sockets on the Pentas and the already amplified signal is attenuated to line level and then re-amplified.
