I recently had this experience that I wanted to share. As an attorney, I'm often called upon to provide presentations about recent updates and treatments of the law. I was recently asked to give such a presentation at a major pharmaceutical company. I had learned from experience to always pack my own tech for safety backup. I had purchased an A2 for this very reason and packed in my "presentation bag" along with my laptop, thumb drives, laser pointer and slide controller, and batteries. I found myself in an auditorium with 100 people and the audio/visual tech began to panic -- she was unable to get the auditorium's speakers to play the audio from my laptop to coincide with the video going through the projector. I reached into my bag and pulled out my new A2. It effortlessly paired with my laptop and provided perfectly clear, adequate sound to fill an entire auditorium. Crisis averted! After the presentation, the Audio/Visual tech came up to me and wanted to know more about the A2. She was fascinated and impressed by it. She said that the company would now be including in its budget B&O A2 units for each auditorium at the company as a backup for the auditorium speakers. I will always pack my A2 with me in the future!

So, this happened AGAIN! I was giving a presenting last weekend. The AV guy had me connect my laptop to their tiny speaker. He said with pride, "We have a BOSE speaker system!" It was horrible and totally unacceptable.. I pulled out my BeoPlay A2 and left the AV guy speechless.

How times have changed.... or maybe not!

I can remember when the typical issue was arriving for a presentation with a circular Kodak slide carousel, only to find that the projector had a straight slide loader. This repeatedly happened even after telephoning venues to double check just what they had.

Then, with the arrival of Powerpoint and the laptop, the issue was always the order in which to connect and power-up the projector and laptop so they would talk to each other: 9 times out of 10 there would be issues taking maybe 30 minutes to resolve so you always had to hope for access to everything  long before the actual presentation.

Tell her to go for an A1. It's the best PLAY product so far. There's no way i could praise that horrible flat A2.
