B&O Multiroom and beo link integration.

My house is equipped with masterlink installation and I have many products installed. Last year I bought the new Avant 55" . The tv is now linked with a NL/ ML converter to the old masterlink system. B&O is now introducing new products which could be integrated I wirelessly..has anyone experience on how to set up this kind of cross over system. I would like to slowly but surely change to the new technology and keep some of the old. Songs is probably the benchmark at the moment in setting up these kind of multi room installations. Can I also use other speakers and integrate them, such as weather protected wireless speakers for the garden?

This is all absolutely possible.

You can use the B&O passive kit for outdoor speakers and use either an APP if you have a gateway or use a remote with a link eye.

As far as the wireless integration.. No problem.

All of the new stuff runs through IP so wireless or wired doesn't matter.

What all are you wanting to add?

The nl/ml converter can be configured multiple different ways so you can integrate between the two.

my beosound 3200 has become unuseable when my speakers were all connected to the avant 55

my dealer is suggesting subscrbing to deeper/spotify instead of purchasing the NL/ML converter at a cost of approx £600

Spotify and/or deezer is a very nice tool.

But I like the converter too.

That lets you transfer everything from the tv to all of the NL sources

However if your only ML source is the BS3200 maybe it is time to say goodbye.

Move your speakers from the BS3200 to the BV so you have surround sound.

Sell the BS3200 and use its money to pay for the subscriptions.

On the other hand if your partner is like mine and does not want to let go of the Jewel case experience then perhaps you need to live in two worlds or use the NL/ML to be a bridge.

If you want music in the BS3200 room separate from the BV then I would still say sell the music system and buy an Essence as your link room controller rather than the NL/ML.
