By request of many of you the clock and timer function will be rehabilitated. By means of a software update both for the moment, essence, beosound 35, A9 as well A6.

Well, then - might be usefull!

Probably with the Google Cast update of the BS35 and the BS Essence (2nd gen).

I guess the timer is implemented in the app, right?

So that is where you set the wakeup timer.

Appear to be the Beosetup app that is used for setting the timer. Will be possible to have e.g the A6 to wake you up with a certain tunein channel at a certain time.

Also to have the timer to shut down all equipment at a certain time.

My Essence Mk2 updated last night.  GoogleCast + clocks and timers in the BeoSetup app.  I'm in the US.

A6 update brings the clock and timer feature .... I'll keep the old clock buzzer as a backup to Internet, WiFi or CPL failure :-)

I doubt that

It is sad that the usability is so minimal.

A simple start/stop timer button in the BeoMusic app would mean a lot.
