Hello,

as the internal standard dvb-s module on my BV7-40 MKII is not of much use these days I want to disconnect it to have DTV as a free source to assign it to an external dvb-s receiver.

Is there any manual which describes in detail how the module is connected and wich cables I have to remove ? Or can someone explain it in detail ?

Kind regards

Martin

I already found some hints in the service manual.

Hi, I also own the same TV and have the same idea on how to connect it for free DTV source. Would you mind to shed some lights on what have found? Cheers.

Watch out ! There can be high voltage inside the tv !

You have to open the back of the TV, remove the metal frame that holds the tv on the stand.

Bring module 1 in service position and remove connections from P14 and P33. After that remove connection P152 from module 2. In my case there has been no connection to P152, but the dvb-s module worked correctly before.

Reassemble the tv.

Now you can assign dtv to external sources.

Hope this helps.
