Hi,

I have an RX2, and it's been fine, but now suddenly it's started to default to 45rpm all the time. I don't play any singles on it, so I never really use 45rpm. It always used to auto detect an LP and start at 33rpm before, so I wonder what's happened, and f there is a fix for it?

Any ideas what's causing this?

Thanks,

Fixed!

What it did was, gently press down on the black plastic spindle, to fool the player into thinking there is a 45' single on the platter, then pressed CUE. The tonearm moves to the correct position as if to start playing a single, and the platter spins at 45rpm. Then I pressed stop. Then put a 33rpm LP on the platter, and finally the player correctly recognised an LP and started playing at 33rpm.
