Messing with my newly acquired S3 - does the Equaliser settings from the App affect both the Bluetooth stream and the line in signal from the 3.5mm jack or just the Bluetooth stream?

You can only use the "mood wheel" type of equalizer settings of the BeoPlay App with a bluetooth stream to a single S3.

The equalizer does not work, if two S3's are wirelessly stereo-paired using bluetooth or if the 3.5mm input is used.

It's a bit pity that the equalizer only works for one standalone S3 over bluetooth. I would like to use it for my stereo pair.

Thanks, that's confirmed my findings, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something stupid!

I tried to use a single S3 to replace the crap speakers of a TV but the only volume controlled audio output from the TV was the headphone socket which, for some reason, is really bass heavy. I tried to use the mood wheel equalizer to roll it back a little but, as you've confirmed, it didn't work.

Nevermind!
