Hello. I am new here but I have a question. I hope you can help Smile

I am soon moving out of my parents house and they have offered me to take their 40" beovision 7 with beolab 7-1 speaker with me (they are getting a new B&O Avant). I would like to expand with maybe some used beolabs 3 and a used B&O-subwoofer (beolab 2). I know I can wired all of the speakers together in the back of the BV 7. So far so good. Then I will be able to see cable tv with a perfect sound-experience.

But I would also love it if I could listen to music from Spotify wirelessly. I have a Airport Express but I am not satisfied with it. Instead I would like to have Sonos in my apartment. So I have some small speakers in the bathroom and kitchen. I can control them with a Apple-device. Perfect.

But how do I get the beolab-speakers to be a part of Sonos in the livingroom-zone? I have heard of Sonos Connect and AMP. But where do I connect what to what? Can I just wire it to the back of the beovision 7 and have that as a center of the sound? I would like to use the B&O-speakers to both tv and streamed music.

In short I have these questions in mind:

1) Where do I connect the Sonos Connect? I mean do I need some extra equipment or can I connect directly to the tv?

2) How do I turn on the speakers when I want to listen to Spotify? Do I have to use the BeoRemote 4 or can I do it through Sonos-app?

3) When I am not using the speakers will they "go to sleep"? I have read that the Sonos Connect is keeping the speakers turned on the entire time. That is not acceptable.

4) If all of the above should work out; then if I am listening to music through Sonos App and I turn on the BV 7 - then what happens? Does I listen to cable tv, Spotify or even both? Can I decide myself somehow?

5) A final thing: Can I connect elderly B&O-speakers wireless to a BV 7? I plan on having the speakers spread out in the livingroom so having wires everywhere would not be pretty. But of cause I can live with them if there is no other ways.

I know that many of my questions is about Sonos but I hope you can help anyhow. I will also ask in a Sonos forum. In advance thank you many times for your time and answers!

Best regaards
