Beo5/6 IR range issue

I recently bought a Beo5 which has been upgraded to a beo6 screen (and presumably internals also)

There is an issue with the battery draining quickly which meant I got the remote for a bargain price however I seem to be having another problem...

The IR range of the remote only seems to be about 1.5-2m so I can only control my tv when I am directly in front of it.

Is this a common fault? I have updated the software to 3.40a

Managed to resolve this - the remote was in 'dealer mode'

Working fine now after I changed the settings
