Essence - 2nd gen difference

Hep!

 

I've been searching all morning, and can seem to find a detailed list about what was actually updated in the mk2 of the Essence. The closest I've come was finding a lot of analysis and speculation before it came out on this forum; so I thought it would be the place to ask :)

 

What was updated in the mk2? Does the mk1 still get SW updated automatically? And is it worth it buying a mk2 or could I just as easily find a used mk1 (it's gonna get tucked away anyway) and use that to drive my system?

Mk2 has alarm function and deezer integration and multiroom. I think it also has Bluetooth.

Mk1 does not have these functions.

If you have the money, get a mk2.

I think the or eye also came with the Mark 2
