Anyone know if these mounts are interchangeable? More specifically, can I use the 18 wallmount on a pair of 8000s?

No, they are not. I made the test with the seller when I bought my 8000s, he had 18s wall mounts available.
You could do it, but it would alter the 8000s and the change would not be reversible : the screw on the 18s is shorter than on the 8000s, therefore if you cut the screw on the 8000s, it would allow you to use the 18s wallmount, but you could no more mount the usual feets on the 8000s afterwards.

The design looks very similar between 18s and 8000s wall mount, but they had to change a little thing...
