Found this link. New BeoVision 14, updated Avant and new BeoPlay V1 now called Horizon. Expected to be announced at the end of the month.

That's it - thanks!
Eek... the lines of the wood hurt my eyes. Hopefully it won't be as bad in-person.
So no HDR then for the new TV's? Very disappointing if this is the case!
Also doesn't state if the backlight is edge or direct type. Is this the same screen that has been in the Avant for two years? Please B&O, release a to that is up to spec with other manufacturers.

That looks great! I wonder if there might be a conversion kit for those of us "unlucky" enough to have a BV11-55 (most current chassis)? Or if the frets would be designed to use the same magnets as the current BV-11 Chassis?

It seems a huge waste of time to release three new TV's with outdated screen technology. The only new elements seem to be a wooden grille and android software. Is this new TV even up to 4K standards?
Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.
Chris Townsend:I believe they will have HDR. It says direct lighting I think in the description , so hopefully no edge and dynamic lighting. Not sure about the Avant.
Not sure about the Avant.
I couldn't see anything about direct backlight dimming. Just says that it's a "LCD screen with LED backlight dimming."
Would they not list HDR as a screen feature if it was going to be present?
Listed features on the page include uhd 4k and option to connect a USB based HDR.
Razlaw: Listed features on the page include uhd 4k and option to connect a USB based HDR.
That's not the same thing. That just means you can use a USB stick as a Hard Drive Recorder to record TV etc. I'm talking about High Dynamic Range, a major feature and standard for 4K screens that most high end current screens have.
It says USB based Hard Disc Recorder. That seems a bit more than just a USB stick. It does not say a USB AS an HDR. It says USB based HDR that allows one program to be watched while another is recorded.
As for High Dynamic Range, I did not see a previous mention of that, only a mention of UHD 4K.
But this just appears to be one dealer's web page, not the B and O official web page which may or may not have more details and clarification of the specifications, when the BV14 appears on the B and O web page.
I'm convinced that ALL of the new B&O TVs will have HDR. Even £400 LG TVs now have this as standard in 2016 so please don't worry guys!
These are no 'specs' - just typical marketing talk.
By the way most BV(14) buyers don't even know what HDR is, but they know that they wish for a simple way to record their tv programs.
This is definitely a 'teaser site' and probably not even supposed (from B&O) to be online yet.
The new grill is stunning! Really liked the wooden fronts!
Now it is live on B&O homepage and tech specs are there. No HDR, looks like.
Maybe it will come as a SW upgrade?

Crazy that a late 2016 4K TV will not have HDR when most others do. It hasn't even come out yet and is already outdated. The design is lovely though.
Now...do I like the BV14 or not? Really can't make my mind up. I really would miss the coloured frets (particularly bright orange).
Are there many technical changes between this and the BV11? Doesn't appear to be. In a rush to work, so haven't read through the press release, but it doesn't look too different, apart from 4K?
Wow that thing looks good !!! I bet it will end up with my BV11-46 has to go
Does anyone know the price point on this beauty in 55'?

Oh. I notice the red fret (and other colours) are still available. So this is a BV11 with 4K and a wooden fret option?
I like the design, but its an upgraded BV11 in my eyes. The lamellas are very cool.
To bad High Dynamic Range is not mentioned. That is a panel technology, so it should be there from start, if its there at all.
Spec mention two way remote. Wonder what usecases that cover?

Quotes from FlatpanelsHD:
"On the other hand BeoVision 14 does not support the industry’s next frontier in picture quality HDR (high dynamic range). It does not support 3D either"
"Some streaming services such as Netflix and YouTube have begun offering streaming in 4K quality and BeoVision 14 will support this. It has a built-in decoder for both HEVC and VP9. The former is necessary to stream Netflix in 4K and the latter is necessary to stream YouTube in 4K."

Exactly my thought too. It's just a BV11 with some spec upgrades. It could easily have been sold as a BV11 Mk. Xx, but maybe that could also have been said regarding the BV10-11 change. I don't see any BV11 owner rushing out to upgrade to a BV14.

I look forward to seeing it in the flesh. I wonder if the horizontal lamellas would clash with the vertical oak lamellas on the BL18s or complement them. I can't decide from the pics.
Surprised about the lack of HDR.
No HDR is a catastrophe! The FHD to 4K upgrade is nothing without HDR. I thought they learned their lesson with the Avant not being fully 4K ready. What are they thinking?!
BeoVision Eclipse 55, BeoPlay S8 (sub+rears), BeoPlay A9 MKII (living room), BeoVision Avant 32 DVD (retro gaming, basement), BeoLab 4000 (entertainment room, basement), BeoSound 8 (workshop), 2x BeoPlay S3 (PC), BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay H2/H3 (on the go)
Bluetooth audio out, that's pretty cool.
Wood looks awefull, last picture it looks crooked — flintstone.
Where on earth did they find a 40" 4K panel with 3D?! No manufacturer makes that
