Hello! I'm a longtime B&O owner but new to these two portable radios. My question is, these are both 220-240VAC models. I live in the states and have successfully run both on 110VAC using a standard power cord. Sound quality and performance is identical either battery or 110. 1) I would like to know if there is any detrimental effect on running the radios at ½ their specified power. 2) since I can see no physical battery/AC switch inside the power receptacle on the radio, if transfer of power from battery to AC mains is done electronically, will the circuitry still switch on 110. (I've had to physically remove the batteries to confirm AC was working which it was) just no way to know if it actually switches over while the batteries are in.

Thanks much!

Bruce
