Good evening Beoworlders,

I have a query regarding the digital output on my BGCD3500. I'm currently playing some music on cd through the Beogram via the digital output and into an AV receiver via its coax input socket.

Every now and then (at various intervals of changeable frequency) the sound cuts out and the AV receiver shows a dropped digital connection via its display.

The cd keeps playing, the songs aren't pausing, but the sound drops out.

The receiver shows it's picking up the LPCM signal, until the interruptions. Then it goes blank briefly and then again shows an LPCM signal is present when the sound returns.

I have a datalink cable connected to a BM5500 too, but the volume's down.

I've disconnected the datalink cable but it doesn't prevent the 'digital dropouts'.

Anybody else experienced anything like this?

Do you get the same dropouts on the analogue connection?

Hello Lee. No the analogue connection is flawless.

It could be an issue with the amp and not the CD player then.

Have you tried a different cable?
