Hi all, I was wondering if anyone had any experience or advice on replacing the aluminium touch plate on a beolink 7000. I've had my beolink 7000 for a while, and it's had a full recap, and replacement batteries and back up cell. However, after reliable service for a couple of years it started acting a bit erratically, and would not always light up when I touched the plate. I ruled out power supply issues. I've bought a new plate from eBay as I assume the piezo sensor on mine has failed. However, I'm not entirely sure how to remove the circuit board from the plate. Has anyone carried out this repair in the past and could you provide some tips on how to proceed.
