leosgonewild:There are ICEpower 50asx2-se modules for sale on eBay for the ridiculous price of 17,50£ per unit. I ordered five for use with fun projects. So my first idea is to see if I can mount one of the units in a CX100 and feed it with my favorite device , the Chromecast. Next us at make a pair of wireless Pentas, but I am quite sure that 50w is a little weak to drive them, but it will be fun. Any other ideas for what can be made?

Thanks for the link, the first of these items i bought in US were about 4 times this price. The best way to use these small amps at my opinion is to have one channel per driver (the b+o way...). So for the CX100 you need two SE units or one SE-unit and one BTL unit. The challenge is to put these two boards together with an appropriate Xover in the small CX100 cabinets (i am using LRX424 X-Over from Elliot Sound Products). For my CX-100 fun-project i am starting with a prototype using external housings for the amps. With two of these small stereo-amps i am also quite happy driving b+o and non b+o speakers in my mcl-linkrooms (instead of the MCL2P).
I am not having any Pentas at home but i guess that one channel per driver will be enough power.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
If you run your Pentas as is, you already have 'a crossover' - that is the way a passive speaker (with more drivers) is built.
If you would run each driver (in a Penta) with its own amp, you would need something that makes the drivers/amps cooperate.
A modern DSP solution would be the first choice (that is how newer BeoLabs are built).
But of course (just as with choosing the right crossover) you must know how to deal with the possibilities of digital sound processing.
Never the less - I am quite sure that your Pentas (with the 250'es) sounds wonderfull.
