The white symbols in lcd-display disappeared completely, after they showed up in different intensities frequently. The exchange oft the backlight-foil did not help at all. Anybody there who has an idea how to fix the Problem?
A long-shot but anyway: check to contrast potentiometer, in case it has gone bad?
I measured the voltage at the Poti. It can be adjusted but only up to a max of .8V
