Hello fellows.
My MX8000 is on its way to the grave after 618 video days. As some of you might have seen in another thread the screen suffers from three permanent stripes of RGB bands. I am now on the lookout for a new B&O CRT TV for retro games and I am wondering how long you can expect these TV's to run? I have a couple of options at hand but both have even more video days on the counter than my faulty MX8000. What do you guys think? Should I wait and see if I stumple upon one with lower counters or is it unusual to fail at aprox. 600 video days?
These are my options:
MX8000 with 828 V-days
Avant DVD 32 with 715 V-days
I hope you guys can help me with some advices
