Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, excuse my English, I am using the translator. I have recently entered the Bang & Olufsen world and I would like to ask you something about mcp 5000. This remote control only works via the BeoMaster 5000 or can also directly control a BeoCord. Sorry for the question to neophyte Beo. Thank you

Yes.

You only control the Beogram with Datalink THROUGH the Beomaster. The turntable has no remote control receiving abilities on its own.

MCP5000 will control the Beomaster and all (datalink compatible) Beocord, Beogram etc. connected to the Beomaster.
