Not sure, to be honest I didn't bother, currently my strange set-up is:

Beosound Moment -> ethernet cable -> Vodafone Fibre Router

VF Fibre Router -> ethernet cable -> Apple Extreme wifi running 5GHz wifi network

Twonky Server running on iMac running on the 5GHz wifi network.

So far no drop-outs after a few months of use Whistle

Actually i have my beosound moment and my NAS wired with cat 6 to my airport extreme.

Do you think if i use the cisco sg 200-08 switch to wired moment and NAS it will be better for dropouts?

What problem are you trying to solve? Do you have dropouts now?

What kind of switch do you have today? Dropouts are occurring when and with which kind of source ?

You need to make sure that QOS is off if your switch has the feature.

Edit: sorry I missed to read some posts and I can see that the Apple AirPort Extreme is in use and to my knowledge does not have QOS

Personally I have a Netgear and the only dropouts I have are when reading NAS content at about 20" of each tracks, mainly when I play albums, more rarely while playing based on mood and so since the latest Moment software update

BS Moment, BS Core, BG 4002, BC 4500, BS1, BL18, BL19, BL8000 + RCV1, A6, M5, M3, A1, P6 (tks Botty), H5, TR1

i have no switch all is wired to the airport extreme

the dropout are on Nas source not on deezer or extremly rare on deezer

the dropouts are when i begin to use the moment on nas source (is the nas not good Wake up: i don't know) or when in the music ther is high time like a lot of bass or drums (but it is not systematic)

the dropouts appears sometimes: a lot of time there is no problems. so difficult to say what is the problem (the NAS or the network or the moment)

I had constant drop-outs with my Airport Extreme until I installed this firmware update:
