greetings all,

one of the current projects on the go:

this BM 4400 arrived indeed dead !! no lights, no power, no output.....nothing !

not a surprise as it was sold as 'not working' but in nice condition.

naturally I checked for dead fuses....no, all fine !

one of the possible suspects as usual are dead caps in the power supply.....sure there are many other

suspects :-))

is there a capacitor replacement kit available with a short instruction ?

after opening the monster and checking the SM there wasn't a hint to be found on how to dismantle the many

boards.........is there for instance a procedure on how to get to the PSU board other than wildly unscrewing everything??

any help is VERY much appreciated.

cheers

Anybody willing and capable to help ??

I sure there must be a smart way of dis-assembling those boards ????

And then the question about a 'cap replacement kit ' ????

Come on guys, I am  Broken Heart as it stands !

Cheers
