My only concern with the mk1 is that it does not support hdcp2.2 for all hdmi only one input

I thought that with a software update last year all hdmi's (except quick panel) became 4k.

I misunderstood then. A shame because with 4k tv boxes and PS4 or player you need at least two (three with my wifes 4k camera).

They all (except for the sixth one on the upper side of the tv) are now HDMI 2.0 but not HDCP 2.2 which means they can show 4K as long as it is not copy protected with HDCP 2.2 which most 4K distributed media is. The HDMI 1 is HDCP 2.2 enabled. For the other ports an adapter that can translate the copy protection (HDCP) is necessary.

Alright Michael, thanks for clarifying. I'm really bad at that.

Well one change listed in the specifications for the 55" has changed the screen from the original 'edge type backlight' to a 'direct type backlight', bringing it in line with the larger 75 and 85.  I'm curious to see if this improves uneven lighting and bleed from side of the screen, particularly noticeable with darker scenes or white text against black.

@Solidsnake

Do you have a source/link for that information/the specs?

If so, it might be a good change - theoretically...

....and maybe also in real life.

@Beoberg

Oh, missed that one - thanks.

It is from a dealers website - I did not find anything on the main B&O site.
