New Beogram 1500 and already a few problems

Hi everyone! New on the forum and new on the B&O world, so a lot to learn and hopefully enjoy.

I bought recently a nice shape (or it seemed to be) Beogram 1500 with the MMC20s cartridge. 

The main problems are that:

A - there is no sound from the left channel

B - the dust cover spring (torsion spring?) is missing, and the right side latch seems to be a bit broken

 

I was wondering:

 

A - What could it be the problem?

B- Would it be possible that some member would have a parts unit that could sell me a dust cover spring?

Answer A: the problem could be

- the cartridge

- the contacts of the tonearm to the cartridge

- the wires in the tonearm (especially the area of the counterweight)

- the audio cable

- cracked joints in the sockets

To B:

You should look for a new lid and a Spring, which will be hard to find
