Hey.

I have bought my first Beoplay A9 (1 generation). But the BeoMusic dosen´t work.

First of all, i downloaded the BeoSetup, and found my network. After, i opened the BeoMusic app, but it can´t find the BeoPlay A9.

I downloaded the BeoMusic app, and when it searches for devices, it can't find any. It says to make sure the app and the device (A9) are on the same network. They are. If I open the BeoSetup app on my phone, it finds the A9 right away.

What am I missing?

I hope somebody can help me.

Hi

The BeoMusic app is not compatible with the MKI version of the A9. You have to use dedicated apps such as Spotify (Connect) , Tune In and iTunes and then airplay the source of audio to the A9. Support for the MKII launched in v1.2 back in Jan 2015.

Lars, welcome to the forum.  How did you get on?

Are you able to use dedicated apps and airplay?
