My Avant 55" from 2014 received a software update today, noting it has improved Netradio and includes more stations.  The updated software version number is 1.0.11.37447.  Does anyone have more detailed release notes on this software release?  There is nothing posted on B&O's support page.  This is the first software update in 11 months so i was expecting more than an update to Netradio and it's available stations.

I turned my TV on too this morning and it also said the software was updated (automatically)

It only mentioned the net radio which is more than what it normally says.

I think it may have also been because a lot of moment owners lost their net radio stations last week.

I did not know the Moment lost Netradio recently, hopefully that's been resolved.  I agree that the release notes on the panel are more detailed than previous release notes....but i do wonder if more was updated than just Netradio. I don't see any functionality changes or interface changes.

Moment have not lost netradio. There is a thread about some stations being removed from TuneIN, by TuneIn.

Has nothing to do with B&O.

I haven't had time to check yet but I've listened to web radio without any issues (it still upsets me that B&O didn't incorporate that feature in the V1 which shares the same platform).

I have had some small issues with my Avant, one is that it sometimes goes into hibernation instead of standby. That means that the TV turns on much quicker (which of course is a nice side effect) meaning it is always requiring more power since it is not in low power standby mode then. I would be happy if that was fixed now but I'm quite sure it isn't.

Beolab 50, Beolab 8000 x 2, Beolab 4000 x 2,
BeoSound Core, BeoSound 9000, BeoSound Century,
BeoLit 15, BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay P2, BeoPlay H9 3rd Gen, BeoPlay H6, EarSet 3i,
BeoVision Eclipse Gen 2 55", BeoPlay V1-40,
BeoCom 6000 and so much else :)

I'm also upset that the V1 didn't get Net radio... do the BV11's get it?

Okey so I just came home and my dear Avant prompted me to upgrade it. It has a quite detailed description in Swedish, perhaps not in English. So I will translate it here:

Your TV has been upgraded and the integrated web radio performance will be improved in about one week. The number of radio channels has also been extended to about 30 000 channels. The list of channels is updated frequently.

Release date 2016-10-24 (ehm really?)

Software version 1.0.11.37447

Beolab 50, Beolab 8000 x 2, Beolab 4000 x 2,
BeoSound Core, BeoSound 9000, BeoSound Century,
BeoLit 15, BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay P2, BeoPlay H9 3rd Gen, BeoPlay H6, EarSet 3i,
BeoVision Eclipse Gen 2 55", BeoPlay V1-40,
BeoCom 6000 and so much else :)

There is a software update due next week for BeoVision 11. This will integrate the Internet radio function to this model to the same feature level as the Avant.

In order to place the Avant & BeoVision 11 models on the same software level, the Avants received the update but it didn't actually do anything.

Avants should now be on software 1.0.11.37447

And - by the way - another good reason for buying a (preowned) BV11 ;-)

I just updated my V1 to 1.0.11.37447 and noticed netradio as a source. Can't remember it being there before (but that could be me) and it seems to work just fine Smile

This goes out to all the gamers, thinking of picking up a used Avant 55 and was curious to how is gaming on it when set on game mode with the latest firmware release?

How's the input lag?Big Smile

I use it with a PS4. With Game mode the lag is almost not perceivable but I guess perception is subjective.. I'm definitely not a hard-core gamer though.
