Does anybody know if a pair of the S3 speakers can be connected to a Beocentre 3500 and used as the main speakers.

Hi

I think so. You can connect it via the headphone plug on your Beocenter with the line in on the S3. Via the speaker output on the Beocenter is maybe more difficult.

I'm working on a similar project but haven't finished. What I'm going to do is:

speaker out of a Beomaster to 2pin din to an attenuator to rca to Bluetooth transmitter.

I started this project because I'm pretty sure the S3 does not do true stereo separation when they are wired together.

With the Beocenter now as Bluetooth source you can control the volume remotely with the beoplay app and have more options with placement of your speakers.
