Hi All,
My first post but I have been lurking for a while :)
I work on a Superyacht with a number of B&O systems throughout, the one in the main saloon is giving me some trouble!
We have a Beocentre 2 with a B&O TV, when a DVD is loaded in to the Beocentre 2 the system begins to play it just fine, the audio can be heard through the speakers, but there is no picture displayed on the screen.
We have an Apple TV connected to the DTV function and this is all working perfectly, both picture and sound.
Would anyone have any suggestions? I fear one of the interior team may have been mashing buttons and simply changed a setting but I can't for the life of me find it!
If anyone could give me some guidance regarding connections and settings to check I would be most grateful.
Many Thanks, and a Happy New Year to you all!
Which TV is it? The input on the TV has to be assigned to the BC2 as a DVD player. Sounds like it is working as a CD player.
Peter
Hi Peter,
Thanks for the reply, I've had a quick look and can't see any model numbers located on the TV, and a google search didn't bring up anything that looked the same.
This TV would've been purchased around 2010, hopefully these pictures might help to identify it:
Thanks for your help.
In addition to the above, I think this may be a BV4-50 D11...
There will be a system probably below it - a beosystem 1 or more likely 2. You need to use the remote and go to Menus, Setting, Connections and look and see if the BC2 is connected as a DVD player - if it is the only source, it is likely to be attached to AV1. If you join as a silver member, you can download the user and reference manuals for both the BC2 and the TV and beosystem controller. However try the above first!
Thanks for your help! Problem sorted!! Someone had changed the DVD input to a redundant AV source, and despite me changing it back...and dodgy SCART cable still threw me off!!Thanks again!!
Matt
If you are using the Beo 4 remote then see what options you have in the LIST button menu and try selecting a few; V.AUX, DVD2 or PC for example. I am assuming you usually use the TV button if DTV is assigned to your Apple TV?
I have my Apple TV assigned as PC so it depends who programmed your remote and if you can check the physical connections to see what is plugged in and where.
The Panasonic panel is more likely to be a D8-D10 depending on whether a BeoSystem 2 or BeoSystem3 is attached.
Simon.
B&O products are V1-32, BS2, H95, E8 and an Essence remote.11-46 now replaced with Sony A90J 65”, Sony HT-A9, Sony UBP-X800M2 and Sony SRS-NS7.
