Is it possible to drive the Beolab 5 speakers

So connect the Beolab 5 speakers to each other via Powerlink and then connect one of them via Powerlink to a pre amp out and 12v trigger signal?

Or does the Beolab 5 expect something special on the Powerlink connection?

I was thinking about this because I would like to use the 12v trigger of the pre amp to switch the Beolab on and off.

Any experiences with this?

Check av-connection.dk for possibilities/cables. I used their cables for Beolab 7/8/4000.

Also our sponsor http://soundsheavenly.com might have the cables you need!

I assume a preput is always mono so you need to rin the 2 cables seperately.

Thanks for the .dk pointer.

My question still if if this will work for the Beolab 5 as they use some data part in the Powerlink.

And, no, the sponsor refused to make such a cable for me in the past.
