CES and Samsung

Just some news about yet more TVs being released. I like the stands, but the idea that just one can transit all the AV material from one control box, is a great innovative way to reduce clutter.

What I meant to say, is that you can send all the AV material from a hidden control box to the TV down one tiny cable.

Might be my imagination but I swear I recall seeing something similar last or the the year before. Could be wrong, will have to find an article.

Either way this makes sense; modern Televisions are not being used like in the past. Having loads of little boxes and inputs was usual and expected, so naturally we expected to have lots of inputs. At least around me, it's a rare sight to see more than two devices connected to your average set. Probably even one less if forced using those terrible STB for 'broadcast' service.
