I learned that B&O will no longer sell the Beosystem by themselves. The latest 4k panels will be the only way to get the AV processing.
Can someone confirm this rumor - Beosystem 4 will be end of it.
Well this is really sad news. This would have been my next purchase.
I've been holding back the purchase of a new preamp for 2 years now waiting for a BeoSystem 5...
Now it's time to negotiate a pre owned unit!!!
shame there will be no BS5....especially when there is (most likely) some demand for one connection box.......watch the video below, this was just shown at ReCode conference, looks interesting from a source control point of view......shows how the user experience needs to, and is, evolving.....

I would have thought that B&O would do better NOT to make full televisions and focus on speakers and beosystems (merely the sound and brains for home entertainment). Guess I don't have much business sense. Disappointed that there won't be a new Beosystem after all. It would have been my next purchase after the BV11 dies (hopefully not for a long time having learned about the demise of the beosystem).
