Hello;
I'm having some trouble trying to get a google chromecast to work with the BeoVision 7 MK II 40inch TV. My current setup is as follows:
Google ChromeCast -> HDMI Audio Extractor -> HDMI to DVI cable -> DVI on TV
Google ChromeCast -> HDMI Audio Extractor -> RCA L-R Audio to AV4 socket on the TV
My HDMI Audio Extractor I'm using is here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01GH4MEYC
The issue I am facing is that when the audio extractor is set to pass-through mode the chromecast image appears on screen perfectly. However when the 2.1 channel audio extraction is enabled, the TV turns black (not off, just black) and plays the audio from the chromecast device with no image on the screen. Switching back to pass-through mode the image returns.
My connections setup is:
AV4: Source - PC, Audio Socket A4, IR Socket None, HDTV DVI-I,

I've tried using the audio splitter device on another TV within the house in 2.1 channel mode and both the audio and the image both appear without any issues. Hence I do not believe it's the fault of the HDMI audio extractor.
I've been unable to find any other settings for what could be causing this issue when the device is set to 2.1 channel mode. Is it possible that the audio is forcing the TV to remove the video? Or a setting I've missed.
Any help would be appreciated, many thanks.
