Beosound Essence MKII problem without WLAN

Dear friends of B&O

For about 15 years we were quite happy with our MCL-multiroom System (audio only). Now we decided to make a small test upgrade to the new generation of NL. We bought a Beosound Essence MKII. beosetup and beomusic run on Ipad mini or iphone. Installation and configuration was easy and we are quite happy with the new part of our music system. Sound quality playing flac-files from NAS is excellent. 

Only two tests were not sucessful:

- Running beomusic on the IPAD with cable connection but without wlan is possible (for example tuneIn) but the NAS (synology) is not reacheable. 

- 192kHz files from HIGHRESAUDIO can be selected but are not played.

Any suggestions are highly appreciated
