Hello Beoworld.

I currently have:

1) Beovision 7 with a beolab 7-2

2) A pair of Beolab 8000

Right now they are connected through the powerlink cables, but is it possible to connect a beolink wireless to the TV and the Speaker in the same room, and there by removing the cables?

Hi, that is not really the intent of the Beolink Wireless gear - what it is meant for is extending your audio (i.e. music) to other rooms.

And the Wireless only gets rid of the wires between the rooms :)

You still need cables at the BeoLab end, and have an extra box (the receiver) and its electrical power cable.

And of course at the BV you will need a Beolink transmitter, its power cable, and a masterlink cable connecting it to the BV.

So instead of becoming wireLESS you will be wireMORE Smile

Also, I have not tried the set-up you are proposing, but instinct (and logic) tells me that you will be introducing some form of a processing delay into the signal going to the BeoLabs -- since I have not tested what you are suggesting I can't say by how much.  But the delay may be enough to create lip synch perception problems.

I had similar misunderstandings many years ago when I heard that the speaker cables were called "powerlink" -- which made me think that I did not need to give them power sockets, and that the B&O design distributed power along the audio cable :-S
