Beolit 12 en Apple Airplay

Ligt het aan mij of is Apple Airplay B&O onwaardig? Ik heb met mijn volle verstand mijn Sonos Play5 ingewisseld voor een Beolit 12. Beide staan / stonden in de keuken en met de Sonos heb ik nooit ontvangst problemen gehad: muziek selecteren en spelen: vlekkeloos.

Met AA en de BL12 is het één groot drama: continue valt de muziek weg. Ondanks een wit wifi ontvangsticoontje op de BL12 en wifi op mijn Iphone 4s. Heb het apparaat al op allerlei plekken in de keuken neergezet, naast mijn Time Capsule nog een Airport Express in huis neergezet, maar keer op keer plug ik uit pure arremoe mijn Iphone maar met een kabeltje in de BL12. Dan klinkt het wel een stuk beter dan een Play5 èn de BL12 is natuurlijk een stuk makkelijker om (op vakantie, bij de loungeset etc) mee te nemen, maar toch heb ik spijt....

Wat is jullie ervaring? Nog tips of trics?

 

 

Vervelend is dat. Heb zelf een A8 nu, ook icm een Time Capsule, en dat gaat gelukkig wel goed. 

Heb je al geprobeerd om te "airplayen" vanaf iTunes van je Mac/PC? Hoe gaat dat?

Is je iPhone voorzien me de laatste software? Apple heeft met de 4s problemen gehad met AirPlay met het wegvallen van het geluid. In dat geval ligt het aan de iPhone en niet aan de beolit. Updaten is dan de oplossing.

Due to problems with the wifisignal in iOS 5.1.1 in combination with the iPhone 4S, the signal can drop.

Apple is working on an update for this problem. It's not your BL12, that's for sure.

When you are closer to your accesspoint, there are minor problems with the wifisignal.

Enjoy your BL12 and use your cable as a workaround. Waiting for an update from Apple . . . .

All wifisignals on your iPhone can drop. The iPad, which runs the same OS, works fine.

Thanks for all your replies. My 4S indeed has the latest firmware, but true: I have less connection / music dropping problems with my Ipad or Mac. So, I'll have to wait for Apple to fix a problem (yeah right) or maybe get myself an Ipod Classic and connect this permanently to my BL12. I still think B&O made a bad choice by relying on Airplay...

Ik heb het even voor je gechecked, Apple is op dit moment bezig met een nieuwe update voor de iPhone, dus het wegvallen van het signaal heeft niets met de BL12 te maken maar met de software van de Iphone , met een iPad zal dit waarschijnlijk ook niet voorkomen ook al heeft deze dezelfde software. (dus een update na 5.1.1.)

Ik heb zelf ook zon draadloos geluidsapparaat op iphone gehad (3gs), werkte op zicht wel goed maar niet heel ver weg, dan stopte die de hele tijd, ik heb het verkocht omdat ik het gewoon bedraad via een dock op de b&o aangesloten ga zetten, minder straling en iphone is anders toch steeds leeg, hahah trouwens je zou kunnen proberen om bluetooth aan of juist uit te zetten en te proberen, wat ik heb begrepen is dat iphone bluetooth en wifi combineert voor signaal

I have been having terrible problems with my Beolit 12 and its new dealer replacement. I have added an Airport Express to boost the signal from my TimeCapsule and the dealer sorted our network out, to little effect. All other devices in our house, 2 x 4s, 1 x touch, 1 x Ipad 1, 1 x Macbook Pro,2 x Apple TV, a Mac and 3 x Sony Vitas have no problems streaming HD video and music seamlessly with no interruptions. 

The only device that doesn't work consistently is the Beolit. 5 metres from TimeCapsule, 4 metres from Airport(right above it upstairs)

Virtually any of these reviews speaks for itself, great speaker, when it works.

Today it hasn't dropped out once, and the only change is that i'm now using Spotify! Go figure that one out. Connecting to the USB cable gives you better louder sound, although it totally defeats the point of Airplay. It does of course charge your phone up.

Did you know that you can control the Beolit with a Beo4 controller in A-MEM? Sound/ tracks/fast forward etc.
