My LC3 which I have had since new just stopped working. The led light is no longer on. I have checked the electrical connections and the current is still live. Any ideas ?
So its a bin job ?
Good afternoon,
The first step is to dismantle it to check the obvious: burned fuses, bad capacitors and components that look overheated. Does Lutron has service information (schematics, etc) ?
Good luck,
Jean
It only comes with a wiring diagram for installation purposes. I will take it out for a look in a few weeks. I have two in the same room so they are on the some wiring loop and fuse so I don't suspect the electrical circuit.
Result ! Both bulbs in the separate wall lights had "expired" so on replacing them the diodes on the LC2 lit up. Must be a clever piece of technology in the LC2 to detect this.
Correction to above its the LC3 Im talking about not the LC2
