BEOSOUND 2 connection issue

Recently I bought a Beosound 2 one month ago. I have a connection issue puzzled me for a while. The BS2 of course joined the home network wirelessly. I can airplay music from my iPhone or iPad. It works perfect.

But the App BeoMusic somehow doesn't work. In fact, it worked when I installed it. But now , Every time I opened the APP, it tried to search the product and then failed and "your product and mobile device must be on the same network" appeared. It is funny that I can airplay the music from the same iPhone to BS2, which means they are on the same network. Why BeoMusic cannot find the BS2 ?

Anyone who experienced the same issue ? Any solution ?

Did you buy your BS2 brand new?

If not, factory restore this by holding the 2 buttons under the speaker for 10 seconds.

When it reboots after a few minutes, go into Wifi on your iDevice and connect directly to the speaker.

Then it will automatically ask you to select your home wifi network and enter your password (if you have one)

This should join the speakers internal wifi to your home's wifi.

I hope this makes sense.

yes, it is a brand new BS2 ! I will try the way you suggested and let you know if it works !
