In my recently found frenzied enthusiasm for everything B&O, decided to get a V8000 to watch some old videos that found during a clearout.. Found a one owner perfect runner with manuals, set up guide, original recepts, guarantee etc etc. Unfortunately looks like in my haste glossed over the 'small print'..doh! If understand correctly, these units only play on B&O tvs as have some sort of decoder system?
Unfortunately changing tv is not an option in this moment, so was looking to see if anyone has faced a similar situation and is there a work around, adapter etc etc.
Thanks for any thoughts re..

Can happily advise that fears over the VCR not working with a non B&O tv were misplaced. Working great throught the lower A/V scart connector. Guess wont get all the functionality with programmed recordings etc, however simply needed for playing some old tapes.. All good.. Hope at least this short thread helps another newbie who may have similar doubts or question.
All the best..
The problem these day is quality - on big TVs, tapes really suffer. Have a small collection of recorders - the V2000 is a real beast!
