hello
I have just bought a pstn mk1 with a beocom 2 and I tried to make it work.
the base is recognized and I can receive call. The beocom 2 rings and I can speak and hear the conversation.
the problem is when I dial a phone number. the phone number is composed but then nothing happened. the phone I call doesn't ring at all.
however the screen of the beocom shows the duration of the call like if I was online.m
standard is set to off.

if you just press the Line Button (without any numbers), do you hear a tone, can you make INT calls?
Review your Base settings, may be it is configured to be connected to a telephonsystem using Flashsignalto get a free line, switch it off.
Is your base directly connected to the provider or with an adaptor or telephonsystem?

when I compose a number I hear a tone and hear the number being composed. Then I don't hear anything. The number I call doesn't ring.
I have done nothing with the base, only registered the beocom 2.
the beocom 2 base is plugged into the phone input of the box of my adsl provider without any adapter in between.
the beocom 2 rings if I call him.
I have only one b&o phone, so I cannot make int calls.
