I still cannot believe it, But I just picked up a Beosound 3200 with stand and a pair of Beolab 9 speakers for all of $300 from a pawn shop. Of course this set is not without issues. One speaker has a small tear on the grill cloth. The Beosound is missing the remote and the right side glass panel is damaged. I think all of these things can be repaired. Open to any tips and suggestions regarding this setup.

Respectfully,

Carlton

Unbelievable! Congrats! My humble suggestion, depending on where you purchased it from, is to perhaps contact a dealer with the serial numbers, just for your own peace of mind -- ensure you don't have stolen merchandise. Second, maybe take them to a service center and have them all checked out and repaired to new or at least get an estimate before plugging them in. Better to assure their provenance and functionality before plugging them in yourself. Since you got them all so cheaply, even a few hundred to a thousand dollars worth of repairs is worth it. Again, congrats! May I ask where in the world this incredible deal was had?

Finally to answer your ultimate question: all of these cosmetic issues can be fixed. (Speaker grills and glass doors are still relatively easy to come by)
