Hi.

This is my first post to the forum. After being a satisfied user of a Beovision 6-26 for years, I am considering to buy a BeoPlay V1-40. In my current set-up, I am using a Beo5 remote control for my BV6, a Beosound 3000, my Beolabs 8000 and a STB.

In the new set-up, I want to connect a STB, my Sonos system, a DVD player and the Beolabs directly to the Beoplay V1. I probably will not be using my Beosound anymore in this set-up.

Is it possible to continue using the Beo5 remote control with the BeoPlay V1, or is required to buy a new Beo4? I will also have to make some changes to the Beo5 programming. Is this something I can do myself, or do I have to ask my dealer to do this?

looking forward to your answers,

Jans

Welcome to Beoworld Forum!

The V1 user manual refer to Beo6, so I assume that it should be able to use a Beo5 as well.

Your dealer have to do the changes in the Beo5 for you, unless you get the configuration software from somewhere.
